Ms. Sherwet Adel

Ms. Sherwet Adel is our MYP Principal & Coordinator. With over 11 years’ experience in the educational field, Ms. Sherwet has built a solid reputation amongst educators in the IB sector of Egypt. A former part-time instructor at the AUC, Ms. Sherwet is now an IB Leader and Workshop Facilitator who volunteers to share her knowledge about the MYP with other instructional leaders both within the local community and other IB schools worldwide. Ms. Sherwet holds the Lynn Erickson certification for Concept Based Curriculum as well as a certification in School Management Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is currently conducting her Master`s Degree in International Education at the University of South Wales, UK.
“My vision for promoting excellence in education is to equip the students with the necessary skills to be successful in the physical, mental, and social aspects of their lives. Providing pedagogical leadership to the IBMYP, and promoting the IB ethos are critical elements of my role. It takes a big heart and a large, extra strong coffee to shape little minds.”
